We have written many times about he environmental and health benefits of natural stone and concrete flooring.

When I thought further about my last article on finding serenity the natural way, it occurred to me that bringing natural materials into your home or maintaining the existing natural materials such as marble, granite, terrazzo or concrete, is an important part of healing your home.

Many of our homes have been sick for a long while because of the use of chemically produced materials such as acrylic or polyester carpet fibers etc. Even many of the cleaning products we have been using are highly toxic- both to produce and to use.
